Welcome to the website for Winkleigh Methodist Chapel, which is part of the West Devon Methodist Circuit.
On the first Sunday of each month, we have a tea-time service at 5.30pm when we meet together for a bring-and-share tea, followed by a time of worship. On the other Sundays of the month, we meet in the morning at 11.00. All of our services are All-age orientated.
Every Monday morning, from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. we open "The Oasis" Coffee Shop for teas, coffee, snacks, cakes, pasties, mid-day meals, etc. On a fortnightly basis we also host a C.A.B. consultation in the chapel itself.
We also run a Youth Emmaus group as well as regular 'Messy Church' services and Messy Church events. On alternative Monday evenings we also have a Bible Study, which currently is looking at some of the prophesies in the Old Testament and how they were fulfilled with the coming of Jesus Christ.
From 2012 onward we are hoping to begin developing other areas of our premises, including the Chapel itself - which can be used for community purposes.
